Privacy Policy

The controller of personal data is S CENTER d.o.o., Dobja vas 198, 2390 Ravne na Koroškem, VAT ID SI97240672, company registration number 1599143000, which operates Hiša Matevž, Center 104, 2393 Črna na Koroškem (hereinafter: the controller). We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).

What data we collect

For online bookings, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, country, arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children and the children's ages, information about pets, your estimated time of arrival, the chosen payment method and your message. Through the “Write to us” form on the Contact page, we collect your full name, email address and message. For enquiries by email or phone, we collect the data you provide to us yourself. When registering guests, we collect the data required by the Slovenian Residence Registration Act (identity document, citizenship, date of birth).

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to respond to enquiries, to conclude and perform bookings (contract), to fulfil our legal obligations (guest registration, accounting) and, if you give your explicit consent, to send you information about our offers.

The “Write to us” form

A message you submit through the form on the Contact page is stored on the server that hosts our website and sent to our email address info@hisamatevz.si. We use it only to answer your question; the legal basis is your consent, which you confirm when submitting the form. The form is protected against spam by a method that does not use cookies.

Online booking

Bookings are managed in the Bentral booking system, provided by INTERSPLET d.o.o., Slance 8, 3221 Teharje (processor). Data from the booking form are transferred to the Bentral system via the server that hosts our website; they are not stored on that server. Bentral stores the data on servers in the European Union (Amazon Web Services) and sends booking messages via the Amazon SES service, which may also process data in the USA.

If you choose online payment, it is carried out by a payment provider through the booking system. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Visiting the website

On every visit, the server automatically records the IP address, the time, the page visited and the browser type. We need these logs for security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest); they are automatically deleted after no more than 14 days.

If you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we measure visits with Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited; data may also be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). It collects visit data (pages visited, time, device and browser type, approximate location); the IP address is not stored. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting this website's cookies. The data is kept for 14 months.

Fonts and photographs are loaded from our server and content delivery network (BunnyCDN, EU); we do not pass any data to third parties for advertising. Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and koroska.si open on those providers' websites; until you click them, these providers receive no data from us.

Retention

We keep data from enquiries for one year after the last contact, data on bookings and invoices for as long as required by tax regulations (10 years), and data from the guest register in accordance with the law (1 year).

Disclosure of data

We disclose data only to the processors we need for our operations: the Bentral booking system (INTERSPLET d.o.o.), the website hosting and maintenance provider (APRO Pixels d.o.o.), Google for visit measurement (Google Analytics) if you consent, and our accounting service, and to public authorities where required by law. We do not sell data.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent. Please send your request to info@hisamatevz.si. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
